big wedding feels, big photo dump, big tears big joy big love. I spent as little time with my phone as possible this weekend so I have very few photos, but I’m so glad I snapped these couple of sweet moments. so honored to have stood with you @cathm14. and Fonnie, so thrilled to call you my family now.
My little sister’s getting married in the morning, and I am absolutely cherishing these moments of calm before the swarm of activity kicks in. my mother and co-maid-of-honor-sister spent the afternoon assembling bouquets and boutonnières in the basement of the family home, right on top of the old pool table we’d spend our summer nights around, singing along to old love songs while we worked. this is going to be such a beautiful weekend. huge huge waves of feelings over here, hug your sisters everybody.
Ten things a day, every day. Days 6-10: Birds, spoons, dragons, boots, beetles. Give me some ideas for the next ten! #draweveryday #illustration #micron #drawing #artdaily #practice
Ten things a day, every day. I just finished up Day 10 and am feeling like I’m really starting to get somewhere. Here’s Days 1-5 (the order got scrambled a bit, whoops). Cats, cups, hats, leaves and mushrooms. This has been such a gratifying exercise, rebuilding skills that had atrophied, rebuilding practice, rebuilding discipline. #draweveryday #illustration #micron #drawing #artdaily #practice

Meet the Mack’s! I made these portraits and frame for my sweet sister and her soon-to-be husband. We toasted the couple last night at their wedding shower, and today we steal the bride away for her bachelorette weekend. Can’t wait to celebrate this girl ❤️ #coupleportraits #handmadegifts #linocut #handmadewedding

yesterday was world mental health day, today is national coming out day, and I just want to take a minute to express how grateful I am for this point in my life, and how grateful I am to have a job that not only makes me feel free to talk about all the varied parts of my identity but allows me to advocate for children who share in those identities. here's to being a queer person who lives with mental illness, and here's to making it safer and better for the next generation of us.

So excited to share this piece I've been working on for the @gr_cyc for their upcoming fundraiser at @madcapcoffee. This piece is based on a perfectly spooky, silly, and heartfelt short story written by a 6-year-old in the CYC's after school creative writing program. This and many other pieces by talented local artists will be for sale at MadCap downtown from October 16th - November 18th and ALL of the proceeds go back to the program that supports these incredible young authors.
