Made from a collection of discarded anthropology lecture slides from the early 90’s, the Slideshow collection gives new context to lost memories. From a distance these earrings look like simple solid designs, but when held to the light they reveal their intricate miniature images. The slides in this collection discuss topics of birth, death, marriage, initiation, and rites of passage- I hope they can bring meaning to these moments of transition in your own life. They are presented on the original plastic Polaroid slide casings with lecture reference notes. These lightweight dangles measure 1.5” long by .5” wide. Hammered brass discs connect the cast slides to gold-plated fishhook style ear wires, non-pierced option may be selected at checkout for no additional charge.
